Autumn is now well advanced and summer is already a distant memory.
The leafy streets, the gray skies and the ever-dropping temperatures are proof of this.
Not to mention the first ailments of the season, with coughs, colds and sore throats ready to claim victims.
The change of season puts a strain on our skin, especially that of the face and hands , which are more exposed to the new climatic conditions.
If on the one hand in autumn we can recover from the damage that the skin has suffered during the summer, between tanning and excessive exposure to the sun, on the other hand it is also true that climate change has anything but positive effects on the skin, subjected to to greater stress due to the continuous and frequent passages from warm to cold environments and vice versa.
With the change of season, we suddenly pass from hot to humid cold, typical of our climate, with the consequent increase in carbon monoxide levels due to the heating which in these days and in the coming weeks will begin to light up.
This favors the formation of free radicals responsible for the aging of the skin itself. The result is therefore a drier and dehydrated skin that must be treated daily, even in view of the winter.
Dealing with the cold season is not difficult, just follow the basic rules of skincare that also apply in autumn: protect, moisturize and cleanse !
IN THE MORNING
If you have up to ten minutes before you hit the road to work, use a serum to your face.
Do not forget the moisturizer, to be chosen according to the type of skin.
IN THE EVENING
Before going to sleep, perhaps while you are watching your favorite TV series, take some time to pamper yourself: never forget to remove make-up and apply a nourishing cream to care for the skin during the hours of night rest.
